Living with Urban Wildlife
The philosophy of The Pet Place is that people CAN coexist safely with urban wildlife. It is simply a matter of following common sense safety precautions such as keeping cats indoors, supervising dogs when outside, and other easy measures. Watch a video as Marie explains the facts from 1994 - things haven't changed!

Humane Cooking
Animals are sentient beings...ALL animals. We at the Pet Place believe that cows, pigs, chickens, and all other animals commonly thought of as "food" should not live a life of pain and suffering that ends with a fear-filled death so that human beings can eat. Plant-based proteins provide a healthy and humane alternative to a long-standing practice of inhumanity. By phasing out meat from our diets, we will also preserve valuable natural resources such as water, forests, and even the air we breathe. The Pet Place Radio Show features humane cooking lessons on every episode. We hope you will give some of these delicious alternatives a try.
